The Smile perform new song "Bending Hectic" at Montreux Jazz Festival
The Smile, aka Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner, treated Montreux Jazz Festival attendees to a performance of a new track Yorke called "Bending Hectic".
After releasing their debut album A Light For Attracting Attention in May, Yorke, Greenwood and Skinner have been on tour, and have debuted numerous new songs at live shows, and the latest new one was debuted during their Montreux Jazz Festival show yesterday (12 July).
Yorke told the crowd the song is called "Bending Hectic", and said, "Yeah I can see the words. That's good because I just wrote them about half an hour ago."
On Sunday (10 July), Yorke revealed on Twitter that The Smile have new music in the works.
