The Smashing Pumpkins preview double album with two new songs "Anno Satana" and "Birch Grove"
The Smashing Pumpkins are back with "Anno Satana" and "Birch Grove", the two latest tracks to be lifted from their upcoming double album CYR.
Today's double track release follows on from last month's "Confessions of a Dopamine Addict" and "Wrath" songs, and will feature on CYR alongside the lead tracks "Cyr" and "The Colour Of Love".
"Anno Satana" is teamed with episode three of their five-part animation series titled In Ashes, which was created by vocalist Billy Corgan with animation from Deep Sky.
Their forthcoming double album will be their 11th studio LP, and follows on from 2018's Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun.
Smashing Pumpkins recorded the 20-track album in Chicago. Lead vocalist Billy Corgan produced the album, which is performed by founding members Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin and guitarist Jeff Schroeder.
