The Smashing Pumpkins announce house party ahead of July tour
Iconic alt rock outfit The Smashing Pumpkins want to relive their younger days by throwing a "1979" themed house party gig before their July tour.
Los Angeles will fall victim to the revival of the house party gig, brought forward by The Smashing Pumpkins, who will transport attendees back to 1979.
On 28 June, The Smashing Pumpkins will be performing at a secret residential location in Los Angeles, building up to their two month long tour across North America.
Kicking off on 12 July at Gila River Arena, Arizona, The Smashing Pumpkins will be taking to the road with some familiar faces. Original members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha will join the first tour in nearly 20 years to feature founding members.
During their tour, The Smashing Pumpkins will celebrate 30 years together. Founding member and bassist D'arcy Wretzky is the only original not to feature on the lineup.
