New Mexico indie favourites The Shins finally look set to follow-up their hugely successful 2007 album Wincing the Night Away.
The yet unnamed fourth album is to be released via Columbia and Aural Apothecary, singer James Mercer’s own record label, after the group left Sub Pop in 2008. The album will be finished in October after the band’s completion of their upcoming live dates.
The new album and US tour will feature a new-look line-up, featuring Richard Swift, Jessica Dobson, Crystal Skulls‘ Yuuki Matther and Joe Plummer of Modest Mouse.
