The Replacements to release 4xLP limited edition vinyl boxset

'80s alt. rock pioneers, The Replacements have revealed details of a 4xLP limited edition vinyl collection. It's titled The Twin/Tone Years - the era which spans the bands first releases with their Minneapolis label Rhino.
Covering the period of 1980-1984 the collection contains studio albums Sorry Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash, Hootenanny, and Let It Be, as well as the the Stink EP, and is limited to 8000 copies.
The Twin/Tone Years is released on 14 August through Rhino who are also planning on releasing a second collection (covering 1985-1990) later this year.
Listen to their recently-releasd 24-minute improvised jazz track "Poke Me In My Cage".
