The Radio Dept. share new single "The Absence of Birds" and announce Pet Grief reissue
Sweden's The Radio Dept. are back with new single "The Absence of Birds", as well as announcing a reissue of their 2006 album Pet Grief.
"The Absence of Birds" is the group's first release since their 2019 compilation album I Don't Need Love, I've Got My Band.
According to Under The Radar, The Radio Dept. said of their new single, ""The Absence of Birds" is a song about missing someone. And about forcing the hand of chance to make new and unexpected things happen. There's more to come this year, 10 or more songs will be released in some way or another during 2020. Release formats to be decided from what we feel suits the songs."
The Radio Dept. will also be reissuing their 2006 album Pet Grief. The exact date is yet to be confirmed, but there's 500 blue transparent vinyl up for grabs from justso.se.
