The Raconteurs have “no upcoming plans” to release another album
With Jack White releasing a new solo album, working with Neil Young, recording with The Dead Weather and more, it seems like another of his bands The Raconteurs have been put on hold.
“ kind of off the table,” singer Brendan Benson told Billboard at SXSW. “It always felt spontaneous. I liked that about it, too. And I think it remains that way. We never planned anything.”
That does not mean that something 100% won’t happen again, however. But Benson tells fans not to expect anything too soon: “We never planned a breakup. All of us but one live in the same town, so it could very well happen… or not.”
The Raconteurs released two albums: Broken Boy Soldiers in 2006 and Consolers of the Lonely in 2008.
