The Phoenix Foundation move "Mountain"s with new music video
Following the announcement for new album Give Up Your Dreams for next month, The Phoenix Foundation have shared the music video for lead track "Mountain".
Featuring a psychedelic sage wizard, the video sees a group of women honing their beliefs surrounded by an air of magic and majesty in grand surroundings and haunting woodland.
"Somehow [director] Samuel Kristofski made this mesmerising four minute music video from a mere 16 minutes of 35mm film," co-frontman Sam Flynn Scott says of the footage. "Not only does this creepy cultish dreamworld perfectly realise the Jodorowsky inspired spiritual freak out of Mountain, it also encapsulates the pseudo-religious movement that is Give Up Your Dreams. Will you come to second level with us?"
Give Up Your Dreams is released via Memphis Industries on 7 August.
