The New Pornographers' sixth album could be “finished by end of month”
Canadian indie collective, The New Pornographers have revealed that they’re working on a new album, what will be their sixth full-length to date.
Despite member A.C Newman soundtracking a new Daniel Radcliffe film and Neko Case releasing a new album, the band have still had time to work on a new record together.
Speaking to Billboard recently, Case told the publication: “The new songs sound good to me and I’m really excited to go back.”
Adding: “We’ll probably have most of the vocals done in late July. And then I don’t know what they have going for a release date yet. I leave that up to them, because I’m like, ‘I can only make so many decisions.’ It’s actually really freeing for me to go in there and just be an instrument, basically.”
The LP will be the band’s follow-up to 2010′s Together.
