The National documentary film, Mistaken For Strangers will experience a theatrical release this March, before being released on iTunes and via on-demand services.
The movie, directed by frontman Matt Berninger’s brother Tom, originally premiered at New York City’s Tribeca Film Festival last April. It follows the band as they travel the world touring in support of 2010′s breakthrough LP, High Violet.
It will now be screened at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on 25 March, with the band themselves providing a set on the night, with the film later released via iTunes from 28 March.
