The National set to support Barack Obama

The National are scheduled to open for Barack Obama at the Democratic Party rally on 1 September.
The Brooklyn-via-Ohio group will perform ahead of the president’s speech in Des Moines, Iowa, having previously done the same back at Madison, Wisconsin in 2010.
Obama is unlikely to perform musically himself, but you can watch him “jam” with The Roots on Jimmy Fallon below:
