The National and Massive Attack to headline Best Kept Secret 2020
Netherlands' Best Kept Secret festival has announced that The National and Massive Attack will headline next year's event.
The National will be playing the Dutch festival on the Friday as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations of their High Violet album.
Massive Attack will headline the closing night of the festival, with the Saturday headliner yet to be announced.
Festival director Maurits Westerik says, "We are very excited that these two names stand at the foundation of a beautiful Best Kept Secret 2020. The National played the best show I ever saw of them at Best Kept Secret. Next year they’ll return with a special High Violet show, which feels like homecoming. Massive Attack, one of the most influential acts from England, is one of those acts I would love to see at Best Kept Secret. Both artists immediately reflect the musical spectrum we wish to share with all our visitors; a heart-warming, melancholic performance that injects that euphoric festival feeling, and the timeless, immersive electronics of one of England's most influential acts, Massive Attack."
