Having released one of this year’s most understatedly brilliant records in I Want That You Are Always Happy The Middle East have announced that they will be parting ways. The label have claimed that the band are going on an indefinite break, rather than breaking up but according to sources at Splendour In The Grass Festival that took place on Sunday (31 July) the band repeatedly claimed that would be their last show.
This is the second time the band have called it a day, having briefly split in 2008 after the release of The Recordings Of The Middle East full length.
