The Menzingers announce new record with lead single "Anna"
The Menzingers have returned with details of their sixth album Hello Exile, alongside unveiling lead single "Anna".
"Anna" is the first single from the Philadelphia-based group since "No Penance" and "Cemerary's Garden", which was released on limited vinyl for Record Store Day.
Hello Exile is the band's first record since 2017's After The Party.
The Menzingers recorded their new album across six weeks with producer Will Yip (Mannequin Pussy, Quicksand) at his studio in Conshohocken.
Speaking about the process, vocalist Greg Barnett said, "That’s the longest amount of time we’ve ever worked with Will. We wanted to make sure these stories didn’t get lost in the music, so we kept it to a lot of room sounds with the guitar and bass and drums."
