The Maccabees share new track "Marks To Prove It" and detail four new UK shows
Indie-pop band The Maccabees have announced a handful of new UK shows in May, and to celebrate, they've launched a new single called "Marks To Prove It".
This is the first single from the band's self-produced fourth record. It sees them offer the first new noises since 2012's Given To The Wild.
The Maccabees' Hugo White says of the sounds: “These new songs are a reminder of why we started the band... with the enthusiasm to play music that’s exciting and makes us excited.”
The artwork is once more provided by Andy Goldsworthy, and the band couldn't be happier about it: "We’re thrilled to say that artwork for the singles from our new album will again feature the work of Andy Goldsworthy... this is the first in the ’Midsummer Snowballs’ series - we hope you like it as much as we do."
"Marks To Prove It" is released 11 May via Fiction.
