The Line Of Best Fit to curate stage at The Apple Cart, initial festival lineup announced
The Line Of Best Fit is pleased to announce its official involvement in the 2012 edition of The Apple Cart festival, taking place at London’s Victoria Park on Sunday June 3. In addition to being official online media partner for both Field Day (Saturday June 2) and The Apple Cart – we’ll be hosting the second stage at TAC; bringing some of our much loved acts to a multi-thousand capacity arena.
For the uninitiated, The Apple Cart was born last year from the people behind Field Day and Underage festivals, its aim to cement a reputation as a colourful festival of ideas that caters to adults and children alike. Adopting something of a melting pot ethos, The Apple Cart presents London with an entirely fresh, multi-disciplinary take on the festival experience: no other event in the capital has Turner prize winners and world class magicians and burlesque stars sit happily alongside arena-filling comedians and established music legends all on the same bill, on the same day. We’re proud to be a part of it.
The lineup for The Line Of Best Fit stage is being kept underwraps for now, however, we can reveal a generous helping of artists and comedians set to appear at the event including none other than Neneh Cherry and Billy Bragg.
