The Line of Best Fit joins forces with Brighton's Vive La France! Festival
For the last few years, the usually grey month of January in Brighton has taken on a tricolore feel as an event arrives to turn the town a bit French. This is all thanks to the good folks over at Melting Vinyl and Bureau Export who put together the brilliant Vive La France! event in the seaside haven each January, embracing the music, the culture and the film of our French neighbours. Having been fans of the festival for a while now, and always eager to spread the word about the best new French music to be heard, we’re delighted to announce that The Line of Best Fit will be media partners with the Vive La France! event, set to take place in Brighton on the 26-28 January 2012.
The full line up will be announced on the 17 November, so keep eyes peeled and ears open to see which of France’s finest new artists will be present to represent their Gallic compatriots at the festival. Also on the 17 November is a launch party to celebrate the announcement of the festival’s full line-up and the commencement of the countdown! Tickets for the launch party can be purchased here or at Brighton’s Rounder Records and Resident, and the event will take place at Brighton’s Coalition featuring music from Yuksek, Mondkopf and Transformer DJs.
For further information, head over the the Melting Vinyl website, and keep an eye on The Line of Best Fit for updates and announcement which will be arriving very, very soon.
