The Knife bow out with final show at this year's Iceland Airwaves festival
The Knife, after 15 years and four records together, ended their illustrious career this weekend at Iceland Airwaves 2015. It was their first Icelandic show.
Speaking earlier this year via their website, the experimental siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer made announced their "final shows", confirming in an inteview with DAZED that this meant they were breaking up:
"When we finish the tour now in November we will close down, it’s our last tour. We don’t have any obligations to continue, it should only and always be for fun."
The Knife performed a set consisting principally of tracks taken from their recent Shaken Up Versions remix EP at Harpa Silfurberg on 8 November.
