The Killing Eve soundtracks are getting an official release
The soundtracks for seasons one and two of Killing Eve are getting an official release in December.
Heavenly Recordings and Sid Gentle Films will be bringing out the soundtracks from the BAFTA-winning series in December.
Film composer David Holmes says of the importance of soundtracks, "You have to tick every box for a piece of music to work in cinema or TV. It can’t just almost work: it has to slot in perfectly."
He adds of the concept for Killing Eve's music, "One of the first things I said was, "I don’t know the sound of Killing Eve yet but I know it has to be the sound of Killing Eve." Let’s create that sound, rather than trying to kind of come up with the derivative of some other kind of score."
Across the two soundtracks there will be tracks by Unloved, Cigarettes After Sex, Fireflies, Jane Weaver, Poppy Family, and many others.
