The Killers have announced fifth record Wonderful Wonderful - their first in five years - and shared the new single "Run For Cover".
The pop-rock stalwarts have joined up with Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party) on the new record, the follow up to 2012's Battle Born. It was recorded in The Killers' Battle Born studio in Las Vegas and in Lee's LA hub.
Chugging jam "Run For Cover" is a tangled knot of riffy guitars and classic '80s synths - it's all very Killers, nodding back to their hot and fussy early days. It's certainly more familiar than swaggering, cocky anthem "The Man" which first signalled a new era from Brandon Flowers & Co. - check it out below.
Tracklist:
- Wonderful Wonderful
- The Man
- Rut
- Life To Come
- Run For Cover
- Tyson vs Douglas
- Some Kind Of Love
- Out Of My Mind
- The Calling
- Have All The Songs Been Written?
Wonderful Wonderful is out 22 September via Virgin EMI.
