The Horrors' new album delayed until 2014
The Horrors have revealed in interview that their upcoming new album has been pushed back to next year.
The follow-up to 2011′s Skying had originally been expected to drop in September, but now the band have revealed to NME that this is no longer the case.
“We didn’t finish mixing it in time so it’s been pushed back,” guitarist Josh Hayward told the magazine. ”But now we’ve got more time we’ll probably write more songs for it.”
The group’s frontman, Faris Badwan added: ”We basically had the choice between finishing the record and it being one way, or giving it a few more months and it being substantially better. Albums last forever, there’s no point rushing it.”
The record will be the London-via-Southend band’s fourth LP to date.
