The Great Escape 2020 cancelled due to coronavirus
Brighton's multi-venue festival The Great Escape has been cancelled following health concerns over the outbreak of coronavirus.
To try and minimise the spread of coronavirus, Brighton's The Great Escape festival has decided to cancel its 2020 event.
Nasty Cherry, Phoebe Green, JAY1, Arlo Parks, Happyness, Porches, Ghostpoet, The Jezabels' Hayley Mary, Dana Gavanski, Shygirl, and many others were due to perform at the festival in May.
The festival confirmed the cancellation this afternoon in a statement, writing, "We’ve not taken this decision lightly. Taking into account that we are only a few weeks out from the event, and the current status of things, this was the best decision for fans, artists, staff and the community."
