Cult outfit the Grateful Dead will mark their upcoming 50th anniversary with a series of live shows.
Taking place at Chicago’s Soldier Field during July, the trio of gigs comes almost 20 years after the band's final performance at the same venue with late frontman Jerry Garcia. Surviving members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will be joined by Phish singer Trey Anastasio in the place of Garcia at these shows.
Weir has stated in a press release that the outings will be "the last shows with the four of us together".
