Emo/pop-punk icons The Get Up Kids are preparing to make a long-awaited comeback, with new music set to arrive via new label/home Big Scary Monsters.
The Kansas City stalwarts have confirmed that they're joining the emo revival, following artists such as American Football and Jawbreaker in making comebacks. They've inked a deal with Big Scary Monsters in Europe, and another with Polyvinyl across the pond.
As well as the new deal(s), The Get Up Kids have shared a new video and confirmed that "new music [is] coming soon!!!" Their most recent album, There Are Rules, was released in 2011.
