The Gaslamp Killer issues statement about rape accusations
The Gaslamp Killer has made a statement regarding the accusations of rape which have recently surfaced.
The producer and DJ, real name William Bensussen is currently signed to Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label. Allegations that he raped and drugged two women emerged earlier today (13 October) but he has only just responded.
Twitter user @chelseaelaynne wrote that Bensussen "drugged and raped" her and a friend in July 2013 at a hotel in Los Angeles, but Bensussen refutes that version of events in his statement, arguing that he "would never put anyone in a situation where they weren't in control" and that on the evening in question "consent was between three people".

The Gaslamp Killer's show at the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival tonight is no longer going ahead, with a festival he was scheduled for in New Zealand seeking clarification.
Twitter user @chelseaelaynne shared her story through a series of posts, which you can read below:

i would tag him, but today i noticed he has had me blocked, which pushed me over the edge and was the clearest admission of his guilt pic.twitter.com/blNRLbXjRw
