The Fly magazine announces new look and relaunch plans
Britain’s most widely distributed music magazine, The Fly outline plans for “new look” and additional content as part of its relaunch in May.
In conjunction with new music festival The Great Escape, the MAMA Group-owned publication will be distributed first at the Brighton event, taking place 16-18 May. Featuring Kurt Vile on the cover, the 160th edition of the mag will also come with a fresh, comprehensive redesign, regular features on Fashion, Technology and Film, as well as a thicker paper stock.
Another new feature set to launch is ‘Six Shots’, where photographer Jim Eyre will look to capture a live show in six images.
The Fly will be – as ever – free, and available from registration stations at The Great Escape festival in Brighton, as well as at The Fly’s dedicated venue for the duration of the festival.
