The Flaming Lips are set to cover The Stone Roses’ debut album in its entirety, sources say.
Wayne Coyne and co will give their takes on tracks from the Manchester band’s 1989 self-titled effort, revealing a video clip of said sessions – which you can stream below.
Channy Leaneagh of Polica is said to be involved with the project, contributing to a rendition of ‘She Bangs The Drums’.
The Flaming Lips are keeping busy with other plans too, set to bring out a chocolate heart USB record for Valentine’s Day and a new album proper, The Terror, on 1 April.
