The Flaming Lips have released a cover of Bob Dylan's 1969 track "Lay Lady Lay" as part of the new Uncut compilation Dylan Revisited.
After Low covered Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" earlier this month for the compilation album, The Flaming Lips have shared their psychedelic cover of "Lay Lady Lay".
The Dylan Revisited compilation has been put together to mark the legendary singer/songwriter's upcoming 80th birthday, and will feature other Dylan covers by Courtney Marie Andrews, The Weather Station, Weyes Blood, Jason Lytle, Fatoumata Diawara, Thurston Moore and others, as well as a previously unreleased track from Dylan’s archives.
The Flaming Lips' cover of "Lay Lady Lay" is out now. The full Dylan Revisited compilation is available with the June 2021 issue of Uncut.
