The Flaming Lips have shared the video for their oaccsionally jarring rendition of David Bowie's seminal "Space Oddity".
This is the latest in a string of tributes from Wayne Coyne & Co.; back in February, they played nine of his songs at a show in Aspenback, and recently they were part of the immense bill at NYC's Carnegie Hall tribute show.
The Flaming Lips debuted their take - full of spaced-out synths, fuzzy guitar layers, rolling feedback, and a splash of autotune - on Stephen Colbert's show earlier this week, but have now provided the world with a studio version and surreal nun-fulled video.
