The Flaming Lips release companion album to Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon

You may recall The Flaming Lips releasing a full covers album of Pink Floyd classic LP The Dark Side Of The Moon a few years back. Well, now they’re coming out with a “companion” record to the original full-length.
Flaming Side of the Moon is intended to be played at the same time as the Pink Floyd album, preferably the “Alan Parsons’ engineered quadraphonic LP mix”. The LP was also ”carefully crafted to sync up perfectly with the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz”, a press release adds.
The record will be available digitally, with 100 vinyl copies pressed for the band’s family and friends. You can also stream it below:
