The Stewart Lee-curated ATP 2.0 has announced its first acts, including Sleaford Mods, Shonen Knife, Trash Kit, and more.
Boredoms, Shirley Collins and Ian Kearey, Datblygu, John Kirkpatrick and Trembling Bells performing No Roses, The Necks, The Raincoats, Wild Billy Childish with The Dear Watsons, Bardo Pond, The Heads, Richard Youngs, The Ex, Shonen Knife, The Bevis Frond, Stewart Lee himself, Trash Kit, Evan Parker with John Edwards, John Russell & Han Bennink, Shopping, and The Nightingales.
The comedian and writer said of the event: “Of all the ATPs I've attended, the 2001 weekend, when Tortoise curated it and laid American free jazz, European improv noise, alternative country rock, alienating stand-up comedy, ambient electronica, Eighties hardcore, Seventies CBGBs nostalgia, smart-arse post punk, Dutch anarcho-jazz and all manner of unexpected cross-currents on curious young people, remains a pivotal point in my musical education. It's a great honour to be allowed to attempt something similar. Bring bucket, spade, swimwear and an open mind.”
Tickets for the event are available now.
ATP 2.0 curated by Stewart Lee will take place between 15-17 April 2016 at Pontins in Prestatyn, North Wales.
