The Field to release new album in October
Stockholm techno maestro The Field is set to release his new album Looping State Of Mind on 24 October via Kompakt.
The album, the third from ambient explorer Axel Willner, is the follow-up to 2009′s Yesterday & Today and breakthrough debut From Here We Go Sublime.
Willner said of the new record:
“It’s been evolving and it will keep on doing so, people come and go, adding their things to it, you change as well and so will the sound. Many of my old influences are still there, German electronics, modern classical, shoegaze and so on … but to be perfectly honest I now rarely put on a techno record at home or check out techno acts at clubs.”
