The Doors to release R-Evolution DVD, featuring rare and unseen footage
-
Featuring early TV appearances, music films and commentary from the group – including the late Ray Manzarek - seminal 60s band The Doors have announced a new DVD/Blu-ray for December.
R-Evolution will chart their rise through the TV restrictions of the sixties to increased creative control. It will also boast previously unreleased footage, including a 1966 Ford training film featuring the band’s music, plus outtakes from their 1967 appearance on Malibu U.
Fans can also expect to hear classics like ‘Break on Through (To the Other Side)’, ‘L.A. Woman’ and ‘People Are Strange’, and look forward to a 40-page book with lyrics, photos, trivia and more with the deluxe edition.
R-Evolution will be released 3 December.
