The Dismemberment Plan premiere first track in a decade as an answerphone message

Influential D.C outfit, The Dismemberment Plan are to release their first record since 2001 later this year, but have first premiered one of the tracks via a message on an answering machine.
Uncanney Valley will drop come 15 October via Partisan Records, following on from Change 12 years ago. It’ll feature lead cut ‘Waiting’, which is available if you call the cell number 252-64-DPLAN. This leads you to an answerphone message of a two minutes lo-fi recording of the track.
They made the reveal last night by posting the following image on their official website:
