The Cure’s Roger O’Donnell unveils new Jennifer Pague collaboration "The Haunt"
Roger O’Donnell is back with new Jennifer Pague collaboration "The Haunt", which is the second single to be lifted from his forthcoming solo LP 2 Ravens.
"The Haunt" arrives after last month's lead single "An Old Train", which also featured Jennifer Pague.
O'Donnell says of the new track, ""The Haunt" is a song about being left and how you, if you could, would haunt the person who left you… and who wouldn’t want to do that? The song was influenced by a French folk story, The Peasant and the Wolf and when Jen wrote the lyrics it took a kind of dark turn which I was very happy about. So, the happy rural folk story is twisted in a tale of revenge…"
His upcoming 2 Ravens album will be O'Donnell's first LP since 2015's Love and Other Tragedies album with Julia Kent.
2 Ravens was recorded across five days at London's Air Edel studios with Alisa Liubarskaya, Miriam Wakeling, Aled Jones, Nadine Nagen, and Daniel Gea.
