The Cribs reunite with Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo for lockdown performance of "Be Safe"
The Cribs have shared a lockdown performance video of their Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever track "Be Safe", featuring narration from Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo.
It's already been 13 years since The Cribs released their third LP Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever.
For their first "live" performance in nearly two years, The Cribs decided to record a lockdown performance of "Be Safe" - a track that features a monologue from Lee Ranaldo of Sonice Youth that is fitting for the current times.
The Cribs say of their new video, "Got the old band back together (despite being separated by thousands of miles!) for a fashionably late isolation video, our first 'live' performance in almost two years! Feel like the title of the song is quite pertinent at the minute, and hope you’re all looking out for each other."
The band are yet to follow up their 2017 album 24-7 Rock Star Shit.
