The Cribs are sponsoring Wakefield United FC for their debut season
The Cribs have announced they'll be sponsoring Wakefield United Football Club for their debut season and revealed the new shirt design online.
Wakefield United FC is a football team "uniting refugees and asylum seekers with residents of Wakefield through amateur football."
The Cribs have announced they're sponsoring their hometown football club. Revealing the news on Twitter with a picture of the home kit preview, the band wrote, "Not only do we love our town, but this club is a truly great initiative, bringing asylum seekers and refugees together with city residents under the banner of football."

In a separate tweet, The Cribs confirmed the shirt will be available worldwide in the near future, and added, "100% of the proceeds will go towards sustaining and building the club."
