The Charlatans are set to release a documentary film based around the recording of their album, Tellin’ Stories.
The record was released back in 1997, and remains the group’s most commercially successful to date.
The upcoming movie, due 11 March 2013, will feature interviews with the members and pay particular attention to the death of keyboardist Rob Collins, who died in a car accident halfway through the recording process.
Entitled Mountain Picnic Blues, it will also show footage from the band’s mammoth concert with Oasis in front of 210,000 people at Knebworth.
