The Bug reveals ten unreleased tracks, some featuring unheard vocals from The Spaceape
The Bug, aka producer Kevin Martin, has taken to Facebook to unveil a series of ten unreleased dubplates, tracks, demos, and collabs.
Three include vocals from the late Stephen Gordon, aka The Spaceape. One of these is an unreleased rework of The Clash's "Guns Of Brixton".
Speaking about his remix of The Clash and unreleased Spaceape collabs, Martin says: "[The Clash remix] was an officially commisioned remix, as sanctioned by Kyle/Microsoft... Stephen (The Spaceape) loved this, as did Kyle and I, but The Clash members' family estates wouldnt agree to it being released due to internal wrangles... shame... c'est la vie... I posted these three unreleased Bug/Spaceape tunes to say 2016 will be another year when Stephen Gordon, aka The Spaceape, will not be forgotten..."
