The Breeders, Jesus Lizard & more to play ATP Halloween show in Australia
All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced a new festival set to take place in Melbourne this October.
The Halloween bash, going by the name Release The Bats, will be held at the Aussie city venues of the Westgate Entertainment Centre and Grand Star Reception on 26 October.
Bands confirmed so far include The Breeders (playing Last Splash in full), Jesus Lizard, Fuck Buttons, Lightning Bolt, Forest Swords and more.
There will be prizes awarded at the fest for music-themed fancy dress, or as ATP put it: ”using the medium of wardrobe to pay homage via a particularly clever reference to either: one of the bands playing, or one of their finer recognisable pieces of either album or single work.”
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday 20 March). More info can be found here.
