The Breeders announce UK/European reunion shows
90s alt-rock group The Breeders have announced new UK live dates with their classic line-up.
The band, fronted by Pixies‘ Kim Deal, have re-recruited members Josephine Wiggs, Jim Macpherson and Deal’s twin sister Kelley after undergoing changes of personnel in recent years.
They had already announced they would reunite for a special live show at the Deerhunter-curated ATP festival next summer, playing 1993 release Last Splash in full – with 4AD also reissuing the record with the title of LSXX.
Now, however, the group have also scheduled shows in the build-up to this gig, playing Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester and London among other cities.
