The Beths announce third album with new single "Silence Is Golden"
The Beths are back with news of their third album Expert In A Dying Field, and have shared new cut "Silence Is Golden" to accompany the announcement.
"Silence Is Golden" follows the New Zealand group's February single "A Real Thing", and is teamed with a Callum Devlin-directed video.
Lead vocalist Elizabeth Stokes says the new song is "about stress and anxiety manifesting as an intolerance to noise. Where each new sound makes you more and more stressed."
Expert In A Dying Field will follow the band's 2020 second album Jump Rope Gazers, and most of it was recorded at guitarist Jonathan Pearce’s studio in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand) late last year.
