Having recently fallen out of UK copyright, reissue specialists Mischief Music have taken the chance to re-release The Beatles’ 1962 single ‘Love Me Do’ on heart-shaped vinyl.
The song, which was the group’s first ever single, recently surpassed the 50 year copyright period – which means it entered the public domain.
The special vinyl offering will be released tomorrow (26 July) and can be pre-order via Amazon. Check a photo of it out beneath.
The Intellectual Property Office recently opened a consultation on extending copyright law to a term of 70 years.
