The Aces push back second album release in light of Black Lives Matter protests
The Aces have postponed the release of their second LP Under My Influence, stating they "don't want to take away from this crucial need for change".
Under My Influence, The Aces' follow up to their 2018 debut album When My Heart Felt Volcanic, was due to land on Friday (12 June), but yesterday (7 June) the group revealed they're postponing the album release.
In a post on socials, the group writes, "As you all know, we're in the middle of a very important movement. With that being said, we don't want to take away from this crucial need for change. Therefore, we have decided to push our album so we can continue to use our voices & platform in the fight against racism & social injustice. Please continue listening, learning & safely taking action."

Last week The Aces released their latest single "Kelly" to coincide with Pride Month. "Kelly" follows on from earlier outings "My Phone is Trying to Kill Me", "Lost Angeles" and "Daydream".
