The 1975 replacing Rage Against the Machine as Reading and Leeds 2022 headliner
The 1975 have been announced as a new headliner for Reading and Leeds 2022 after Rage Against the Machine cancelled their upcoming UK and Europe tour dates.
Following Rage Against the Machine's statement cancelling their upcoming UK and European shows yesterday (11 August), Reading and Leeds 2022 has announced The 1975 as a new headliner.
The 1975 will headline Leeds on the Friday (26 August), and Reading on the Sunday (28 August) with co-headliner Halsey.

Reading and Leeds will also feature headline performances from Dave, Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion and Bring Me The Horizon.
As well as headlining Reading and Leeds this year, The 1975 are preparinng to release their fifth album Being Funny in a Foreign Language in October, which will follow 2020's Notes On A Conditional Form.
