The 1975 announce UK arena tour, share short film for "Somebody Else"
The 1975 have revealed their new Tim Mattia-directed short film for latest single "Somebody Else" and announced a huge UK arena tour.
It's a surreal semi-sequel to the band's "A Change Of Heart" video, and was written by frontman Matty Healy. It's a bizarre version of late-night London, and sees Healy "struggling with self-obsession in the face of heartbreak."
Their upcoming UK arena tour begins 13 December in Manchester and ends nine days later in Cardiff. Tickets for the shows will be on sale from 9am on 15 July - make sure you're up early as the London show sold out in mere hours earlier this year.
Read Pop Art, our Longread interview with Healy about the nature of culture and pop as an artform.
The 1975's second album I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it is out now.
