Tennis detail forthcoming album SWIMMER
Denver duo Tennis have shared details of their forthcoming fifth album SWIMMER.
Tennis, the duo made up of husband and wife Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore, returned earlier this month with lead single "Runner", their first new release since their 2017 EP We Can Die Happy.
SWIMMER is produced by Tennis, and mixed by four-time Grammy Award-nominee Claudius Mittendorfer (Panic! At The Disco, Parquet Courts).
The new album was written between their home studio in Denver and a four-month sailing trip in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico.
Tennis' upcoming LP will be the duo's first since 2017's Yours Conditionally.
"Runner" was the first track they wrote for the new record. Alaina Moore says, "Until that point we had no clear vision for our writing. The demo we recorded that day outlined the sound of our future, the first contours of our fifth full-length, called Swimmer, out February 14, 2020."
