Tegan and Sara drop pair of new tracks "Boyfriend" and "U-Turn"
Tegan and Sara have shared two new songs, "Boyfriend" and "U-Turn", from upcoming LP Love You To Death.
This is the first preview(s) of the Canadian pop merchants' new album, following its announcement a few weeks back.
"Boyfriend" was given its big reveal on Apple Music's Beats 1. Speaking about the track, the band's Sarah Quinn told host Matt Wilkinson: “Obviously, being gay, there’s sort of a bit of a gender twist in the song and I get that that sometimes doesn’t seem immediately relatable to everybody, whether they’re straight or whatever... but this idea... that we’ve all been in that situation where we really like someone and we want to make it official and they’re not ready, that’s what the song is about.”
Love You To Death follows 2013 LP Heartthrob, and is out 3 June.
