Taylor Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film receives five 2022 MTV VMA nominations
The 2022 MTV Video Music Award nominations have been announced, and Taylor Swift's All Too Well: The Short Film, which she directed and starred in, has been nominated in five categories.
This year's MTV VMA nominations were unveiled earlier today (26 July), and sees Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X tied with seven nominations each, followed by Doja Cat and Harry Styles, who have six each.
Taylor Swift gained five nominations for her All Too Well: The Short Film, which was released in November last year as the visual counterpart to Swift's Red (Taylor's Version) single "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)". Swift wrote and directed the short film, and also starred in it alongside Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) and Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf). She also hosted a screening and discussion for the video at Tribeca Film Festival in June.
All Too Well: The Short Film is up for Video of the Year, Best Longform Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing.
