Taylor Swift reveals she'd happily lose to Stormzy for this week's UK Number One spot
Taylor Swift has revealed that she would be happy for Stormzy to claim the UK Number One Single spot this week.
Speaking to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1, Taylor Swift spoke about the competition between her and Stormzy to claim this week's Number One spot in the UK Singles Chart, "I love Stormzy. I'd happily lose to him."
Taylor Swift's "ME!" single with Brendon Urie is currently going head-to-head with Stormzy's "Vossi Bop" single for this week's top spot.
Earlier this week, Swift confirmed that her seventh album title is in the video for "ME!", alongside her second single title. She revealed to Scott Mills that no one has guessed the single title yet, "I have so much fun with it. I hope I don’t seem too much like an elf under a bridge making you guess stuff."
Speaking about how much longer she'll keep the album title a secret, Swift said, "I’m not going to keep it a secret 'til the release, but I want a moment where I tell it all to the fans directly. I’m pretty sure I know when that is going to be, but I haven’t fully nailed it down in my mind yet. I have a couple of days I'm playing with."
